About The Event

David Mitchell, Chair of Scotland's Gardens Scheme and former Curator at Royal Botanic is presenting a talk, 'Let the Flowers Speak  - The Art, Gardens and Plants of the Impressionists' in which he identifies and celebrates the meaning of flowers in Impressionist Art. This was a journey which first began in 2010 when David was privileged to assist with research and interpretation of the highly acclaimed Impressionist Gardens Exhibition hosted by the National Galleries of Scotland.

There will be a small display to accompany the talk and an exhibition of artwork be children from Norham St Ceolwulf's C of E First School. Refreshments will be available from 5pm. The talk will start at 5.30 and finish 7-7.30.
