I am delighted to say that the village hall will re-open on Monday 24th August 2020.
There will, of necessity, be some changes in how everything works and when everything happens but if we all continue to work together we will be able to enjoy each other’s company and our chosen activities again.
Unfortunately, and only for the time being, WI, History Society, Band and Scottish Country Dancing will not be getting together.
I will put up the new timetable the week before we open and each group will have guidelines to help keep everyone safe. These will also be available to take away from the hall and will be posted on the new notice board in the foyer and on the website.
There will be a one way system and hand sanitiser will be available for everyone to use. The wearing of masks is to be encouraged as an extra safety measure if social distancing cannot be observed during your activity.
For the immediate future, I will be responding to all enquiries about bookings - whether for a group activity or for a private function. We are already taking bookings for next year!
I look forward to having the place busy again and being a hub of activity, fun and safe socialising. Everyone is welcome.
