Norham Life Accessibility Statement

Norham Community Website Association as owners of Norham Life are committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually trying to improve the user experience for everyone, and to apply the relevant accessibility standards.


When creating the website, we made sure to:
● Choose colours with high contrast
● Write alt text for all our foundational images across the site
● Optimise the website for phones and tablets
● Test that the website can be understood by screen readers


We know some parts of this website are not fully accessible e.g. PDF documents are not fully accessible to screen reader software. Some videos may also not have transcripts, subtitles or audio descriptions. 


Some parts of our website allow content to be uploaded by members of our community. We cannot guarantee this content meets the same accessibility standards present across the rest of the website.
