The MONTAGU SINGERS are a vocal ensemble performing a wide range of music from the Renaissance to the present day. The group’s first performance was in 2016 in Palace House, Beaulieu at the invitation of Lord and Lady Montagu. The choir draws together the threads of musical friendships formed over many years and across many miles and the singers for this concert are traveling from places including Cambridge, London, Kent, Wiltshire, and Brussels. Several members have strong personal connections to Northumberland and the Montagu Singers are delighted to be helping to raise funds for the local community on April 18; the following day, they will be singing in Hexham Abbey.
