‘INTO THE WOODS’
ARTS & CRAFTS FESTIVAL JUNE 2023

‘Into the Woods’ was a well-attended celebration of arts and crafts on a woodland theme.

The Festival featured a contemporary art exhibition of over 60 works, children’s art from Norham First School and Longridge Towers, a mini arts and crafts festival, an art workshop with Rachel Sutherland SSA (funded by Connecting Threads), ‘In Honour of Hugo’, a beautiful quilt created as a memorial to Hugo Burge, by Pauline Burbidge, cream teas and wonderful displays of flowers and trees. A raffle of items donated by artists raised a total of £750 for Médicins Sans Frontières.
