Rarin' to Go

Updated: Apr 26, 2021

Please note this update our planned opening date has changed. As the government’s roadmap out of lockdown progresses Norham WI is thinking about reopening. Currently we are thinking we can meet again on Thursday 8th July at 2 p.m. in Norham Village Hall, this could be subject to change. Further details will be available nearer the time.

Now is the time for you to think about joining us. We meet on the first Thursday afternoon of each month at 2 p.m. WI is all about education, inspiration and opportunity. There are regular speakers on a wide range of subjects from history to craft, music to herbalism, geography to upholstery and much more. There are outings to places of interest, the opportunity to join with other WI’s for outings, social events, having fun and meeting new people and making new friends. Norham WI is part of National Federation of Women’s Institutes the largest women’s organisation in the UK providing women with the opportunity to share experiences and learn new skills. Norham WI also has a craft group which is open to members and non-members alike.

The annual subscription for this year is £22.40 a reduction of £21.60 on the normal rate.

If you think you’d be interested, we’d love to welcome you in. As a member you will receive a monthly magazine a variety of online resources and not least the friendship and support of other women.

Interested? Contact our Secretary, Susan Thorburn by email at susan-wake@sky.com or by telephone 07792 221554 for further information.
